A man and a woman are sitting on a cliff watching the full moon. Suddenly a meteor strikes and the man is thrown into another world where everything is really big. This is the beginning of the platform adventure game Seiklus.

The graphics in Seiklus is quite special and takes a while getting used to. Sure they arent great but they really do the trick and at times they are beautiful because they are so simple but yet very telling.

In Seiklus you are a white little man and your mission is to get through a giant world collecting different kinds of coloured pieces, and also to collect treasure chests. The chests contain golden figures each golden figure brings you closer to completing the game.

The really good part about Seiklus is all the small clues hidden on the levels. Everything looks so simple when you first see it but after a while you realise that it is possible to interact with every little thing. For example if you climb a tree you will find a birds nest full of eggs. If you crush the eggs an eagle will attack you and bring you to a volcano where the game continues, brilliant.  You will no longer have to watch tiresome endings at each level.

Seiklus features a number of chip music tracks. Actually I cant really say I like them, they are really annoying and sounds just like a cell phone running out of batteries or a siren. However some of the tracks are decent. The developer of the game included them to expose chip music to people. Too bad the tracks wasnt that good because its definitely an underdog music sector.

Sounds are missing, the game lacks vital sounds for example when the character jumps, lands and such. It isnt that important but it adds to the experience some.

Overall Seiklus is an interesting platform adventure game, its a mix of an old Nintendo 8 bit classic named Dream Master and Super Mario. The graphics are cute and simple but the really good part is the different clues and interactions on each level. Im going to give it a seven, looking forward to a sequel.
