Sea Battle

Sea Battle is based on the old and tried game of sinking ships. The game launches with a pretty neat start up screen of burning ships. Then you randomly set your ships and you are on your way into a memorable sea battle. You have to find your enemy’s ship before the enemy finds your ships. To shoot at a ship you click on a square and hopefully you get a hit and the square turns into red, if you miss the square turns blue.

The graphics are done in different types of blue; everything is blue, sort of like the sea and I guess that’s the thought behind the color theme. Other than that there is not much else to be said about the graphics and interface, it’s not overwhelmingly pretty and it isn’t ugly either, it gets the job done.

What’s disappointing is that there is no sound, very disappointing actually since the price tag is on about seven bucks for the game. However sound is on the list of improvements so it’s on the way thankfully. The other stuff on the list of improvements are very promising, for example, titles of Commodores and disposition of ships according to your tactical skill. But the game isn't at this stage yet.

There is not much difference between Sea Battle and other games based on sinking ships. Other games might actually be better since they also are equipped with sound, however the game is fun but it might not be the best ship sinking game out there.
