The ESA (Entertainment Software Association) today announced the reshaping of the E3 Expo for 2007. Away goes the glitter and glamour in favour of personalized meetings and other targeted activities. The new E3 will be offered to a smaller segment of people in the industry as a more efficient way for game developers and publishers to present their products.

Rumours on the Internet however tells us that E3 has been cancelled, which can be denounced. The industry is said to support the move, and the largest publisher Electronic Arts is in favour of the decision. Rising costs for companies participating at the E3 Expo is said to be behind the move.
