Virus 3

Puzzle games is gaining in importance after being out in the cold for a long time. Virus 3 by Jetacer Games is one of the later ones.

In Virus 3 your only task incorporate as many blocks as possible in as little time as possible into your Virus. You always have opponents; it can either be a human or a computer. Each block have different colors, you can only incorporate blocks with the same colors as your virus. At the bottom of the screen you can select the color your virus should be in.

As most other puzzle games this game is very straightforward and simple, but still fun. Playing the game against the computer is pretty challenging. At hard level the computer is very fast and usually wins before you even take a breath. However this game is even better when playing against a human opponent. This can be done by playing each other on the same computer and certainly adds a new dimension to the game. What struck me as great is the fact that this game has so many options and appearances. It shows that the game is
made to last.

The graphics in the game are ok, the colors could have been clearer for us half color-blind people. Other than that they work. What strikes me again and again when I’m reviewing games like these; where is the music? There are sound effects which is ok but I believe that music is an important part of games. However despite the lack of music it’s a fun game which will help you get through many hours of boredom.
