This game is basically like pacman but in a submerged environment, that is you play it underwater. The player of the game is a clam and you have to watch out for evil sea creatures while eating as many gold coins as possible. Along the way you will get bonuses, such as weapons, faster game speed, larger gold coins (which give more points) and so on.

Your goal is to collect as many gold coins as you can to advance to the next level. What I enjoy about this game is the relaxing setting and graphics. However the feeling when playing the game is slow, possibly to simulate the underwater setting. The evil creatures move in paths that’s random and they are not really that slow to avoid, of course the more they are the harder it is to avoid them.

Unlike many other games I have tested this game has sound and music. The music changes on each level which is nice. However I wish that they excluded the horrendous popcorn dance song which get stuck in your mind all day long and a couple of hours into the night. The other music is ok, the developers really tried to re-mix the music so that it would feel more like you are under water.

The backgrounds in the game deserves some mentioning, they are simply beautiful, I really love them. Since I have been nagging for months now about how bad backgrounds are in today’s shareware games these backgrounds are a blessing.

So is the game fun? Let me put it like this, it would have been fun if it the controls wasn’t so slow and the cute clam actually moved a bit faster. Other than the control issue this game is well done and seriously developed however I wished that the install program didn’t add shortcuts to sponsored Internet pages on the desktop.
