Who haven’t sold lemonade as a kid? Most people have, now you have the chance to start a lemonade empire in Lemonade Tycoon 2.

There are about fifty different games with the name Tycoon on the market today. Most of them are perfectly ok and some are really great. What each game has in common is that they are mostly about making money in different businesses.

Here you will take on the lemonade business. All the factors that have impact on lemonade sellers all over the world are included. Such as weather, ingredients, locations and pricing. The game itself is set in New York City and there are a number of locations in which you can set up your lemonade stand.

The locations included are Central Park, Bronx, Grand Central Station, Times Square among others. Each location has it’s own characteristics and customer base. For example in the Bronx you target kids on their way to school and in Central Park there are more business and fitness people.

When your stand is in place you can see people coming and going to your business. You can also see what they think, for example if they think that your operations are slow, or if they were refreshed or other issues. This is a pretty neat feature and adds some personality to your customers.

You need a unique recipe for your lemonade; to create one it’s a matter of adding lemon, sugar and ice to the drink. It’s not very advanced and surely you would have wanted more factors than sugar, lemon and ice. The important part is to get your recipe right from the beginning because changing it takes some time and wastes a lot of stock.

The graphics in the game are perfectly all right; they resemble the Theme Park series. They are very detailed and make the environments interesting enough. Lemonade Tycoon also features menu music, the music is a bit frustrating and turning it off is actually a good option after a while.

A cool part of the game is that you can compare your results with other players on the Internet. I like this game mainly because it’s cute, it doesn’t make the lemonade business too complicated and it’s a breeze to play. Sure there are some minor flaws but you won’t notice them that much.
